Tunneling underneath the courtyard of al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionists

Compiled by: Syed Ali Shahbaz
On September 28, 1996 AD, The UN Security Council issued a resolution, calling for an end to tunneling underneath the courtyard of the al-Aqsa Mosque by the illegal Zionist entity. However, upon the opposition of the US, this clause was eliminated from the resolution.
The tunneling underneath al-Aqsa Mosque's courtyard by the Zionist regime triggered bloody confrontations, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of Palestinians. As of the occupation of al-Qods, the Zionists have on several occasions conducted excavations in the surrounding and courtyard of al-Aqsa Mosque, and even set this holy mosque on fire in 1969.
Despite the demand of the UN Security Council for an end to tunneling, underneath the courtyard of al-Aqsa Mosque, the Zionist entity continues its excavations in the surroundings of this sacred and historical mosque.

The al-Aqsa Intifada of Palestinian people
On September 28, 2000 AD, the al-Aqsa Intifada of Palestinian people started following the desecration of this sacred mosque by Ariel Sharon, the ringleader of the Likud party and the mass murderer of Palestinian refugees in the Sabra and Shatila Camps (in southern Lebanon in 1982).
The people of Palestine continue their steadfastness against the usurper Israeli regime, while Sharon, who later became prime minister, lies in a state of coma, having been struck by divine wrath in the form of a brain stroke over six years ago.
