Economic Organization of Astan Quds Razavi

With the regular annual expansion of the companies, foundations and organizations founded by Astan Quds Razavi after the victory of the glorious Islamic revolution to obtain the maximum profits from the properties endowed to the holy shrine, a need was felt to establish a separate special organization to plan and implement the policies of the functioning of all the economic related organizations. In this way, Astan Quds Razavi established the Economic Organization to obtain and update information about the economic developments of the country and to coordinate all the activities of the economic institutions in the fields of construction, services, industries and agriculture, to revive the endowment properties and to obtain the maximum benefits from them in order to fulfil most of the needs of the society.
Economic organization since its establishment till now has rendered great services and its fruitful results have been a great benefit for the pilgrims and the residents of the holy city of Mashhad as well as a strong support for the cultural institutions administered by Astan Quds Razavi.

Organizational Set Up
The economic organization of Astan Quds Razavi comprises an efficient and productive organizational framework. The Activities of the Economic Organization
The economic organization of Astan Quds Razavi with its four primary departments in the fields of agriculture, construction and services, industries and mines and the Sarakhs free economic zone carry out multifarious activities and plans and direct them. Every department consists of many companies, organizations and industries managed by board of directors and managing directors, who work in implementing the goals of the economic organization. The production of various types of food products, hand-woven carpets, granite stones, wood industries, textile industries, tile-works, mineral production, agricultural products, construction projects, services and infra-structural activities are the outcome of the endeavours of the economic organization.
