Attributes and Status of the Divine Guides

Imam Ali un-Naqi (A.S.) said: I bear witness that Mohammad (SAWA) is God’s distinguished servant, and His favoured Messenger. God sent him with divine guidance and finalized religion of truth to establish it firmly over all deviated heavenly religions although Polytheist may detest it. (Ziarate Jameah Kabirah)
Note: The light of Mohammad (SAWA) was created first. He was God’s most beloved person and head of all messengers. He was God’s last messenger with the right to intercede on the Day of Judgment. He had oceans of many noble traits such as honor, patience, submission, humbleness, gratification, faithfulness, forbearance, chasteness, praise- worthy awe, forgiveness, beneficence and so on…
God’s blessing and peace be upon you, O the Nobles chosen from the house folk of the family of the holy prophet, the resort of the messengership, the station of ascent and descent of angels* the base of divine revelation, the mine of divine mercy, the treasurers of knowledge (secrets of the unseen), the zenith of forbearance, the sources of munificence, the divine leaders of nations, the custodians of bounties, the elements sustaining the virtuous, the upholders of the righteous, the politicians (following the divine politics) for servants of God, the pillars of the cities, and the gateways of the true faith, the trustees of the Beneficent God, the descendants of His holy Prophets and of His distinguished Messengers (Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ismail, etc.) The holy progeny of (Mohammad (S.A) the most beloved of the Lord of the worlds, May God’s mercy and grace be upon you.
*Note: There is a Hadith that Ekhtelaf of Ummah is mercy of God which is interpreted as division into sects and that difference is a mercy of God. This is not the aim of religion, as Islam encourages visiting each other and unity to avoid differences, whereas the enemies of Islam adopt the policy of ‘divide and rule’ and encourage disunity and spilling of blood of Muslims by wars between different factions. So the correct meaning of Ekhtelaf in the above hadith is visiting and meeting each other and having good relations and unity.
God’s blessing and peace be upon the guiding imams, the lamps dispelling darkness (of ignorance and doubts), the standards of piety, the lords of sagacity, the masters of perfect wisdom, the refuge of the people, the heirs of all the divine prophets, the noblest models for mankind, the outcome of the good supplication of prophet Abraham (A.S), God’s convincing authorities for the inhabitants of this world and the Hereafter and for the previous generations. May God’s Mercy & bountiful grace be upon you.
God’s blessing & peace be upon the Imams summoning towards God, the guides for winning God’s gratification, the steadfast in abiding by God’s command, the leaders for perfecting our love of God, the sincere believers in Oneness of God. the clarifiers and explainers of command and prohibition of God, His dignified servants, who never precede Him or exaggerate in views and opinion and who always act in accordance with His command, May God ‘s Mercy & bountiful Grace be upon you.
God’s blessings & peace be upon the Imams who invite towards God, the rightly guiding leaders, the masters of their loving followers, the vigilant defenders of their supporters, the constant reciters of the best zikr (God’s Names & Aayat of Quran).
I witness that you are the rightly guiding Imams the divine leaders, the sinless the honorable, and near and close to God, the pious, the truthful, the distinguished, God’s obedient ones, who uprise on His command and act upon His Will and Intention, the victorious by His Grace.
You respected His Greatness, honored His Grandeur,Glorified His Magnanimity, perpetuated His prayers, confirmed His Covenant strengthened the pledge of His obedience, and advised people secretly and openly to obey Him, and invited to His way with wisdom & attractive sermons.
You invite mankind towards God, and guide them towards Him with reason. In God you have perfect faith and to Him alone you submit yourselves, you act upon His commands, and lead towards His divine path, and you judge and command in accordance with His word.
Note: But you do not wish unless it is wished by God. (76:30)
A person with firm faith follows the fourteen Masumeen and submits himself to God and does not wish anything that is prohibited by God, whereas a person who complies with Satan’s wish becomes a sinner and criminal.
Your actions are all virtuous, and your habit is benevolence, Your nature or disposition is munificence. Your dignity is equity, veracity and clemency. Your commandment is firm and determined, Your counsel comprises knowledge, forbearance and foresight. Wherever excellence is mentioned you are its origin, its root, its branch, its treasure, its abode and its zenith and culmination.
God exalted you by educating His sacred knowledge, selected you for revealing His unseen Presence, picked you for confiding His secret, elected you by His Might and wisdom, made you venerable by His guidance, distinguished you with His reason, chose you for His holy Light, helped you with His Holy Spirit and was pleased to appoint you as Imams to succeed the last Prophet (S.A.) on His earth as godly holy guiding authorities for His Creatures (up to Doomsday).
You are supporters of His religion, guardians of His secret, treasurers of His entrusted knowledge ,trustees of His endowed wisdom, the recommended interpreters of His revelations in the holy Quran, the pillars of His Unique Oneness, the eyewitnesses upon His creations*. The best models for His obedient servants, the luminous minarets of His cities and the authentic guides to God’s way. God safeguarded you against all fallibilities, protected you against cunning plots and intrigues and kept you pure and free from all uncleanliness and expelled passion and pollution away from you and purified you to the utmost degree of purification.
Note: The fourteen Masumeen were created first. They witnessed all creations of God who created 124000 prophets, Throne (Arsh, Kursi, Loh, Qalam etc. which have spiritual meanings).
God’s blessings and peace be upon the centers, core and heart of cognizance of God, the houses of God’s bounties, the mines of God’s wisdom, the guardians of God’s secrets, the bearers of God’s Book (i.e.the personified Quran), the nominated successors of God’s holy Prophet (S.A), the progeny of God’s messenger, may God’s blessings be upon him and his descendents as well as God’s Mercy and bountiful Grace.
God’s word and command is directed through you. One who regards you as his commander and master has in reality regarded God as his master, and one who is hostile to you is in reality hostile towards God. One who adores you has in fact adored God, and the one who hates you has in fact hated God.
You are the most firm & secure way (Sirat in this world).
You are the perpetual source of divine mercy (for the believers), and the treasured Ayat of God and the guarded trust.
The Truth is with you, within you, from you, and in your direction; you are masters of truth and a mine of Truth itself.
All nobles bow down honouring your nobility, and the arrogant recognize you as worthy of obedience and all powerful tyrants become humble before you.
My Masters! It is not possible for me to appraise your praise nor can I reach the core and heart of your praiseworthiness nor can I describe your high excellence. (Ziarate Jameah Kabirah)
