The Muslim Governments Need to Rely Upon the Fundamental Aspects of Essence of Islamic Ummah

Hazrat Ayatullah Uzma Sayyid Ali Khamenei while considering the existence of unity in all Islamic activities for resistance against arrogant powers and defending the interests of Islamic Ummah declares the preservation of unity essential obligation for all Muslim nations and governments.
"For the Islamic world today the only way for saving the interests of Islamic nations lies in the restoration of unity under the shadow of Islam and also in rejection of the designs and goals of imperialists. The objective of imperialists is annihilation of the religious and national identification of Islamic world particularly in the Middle East. The resistance against this objective is possible and practicable only with mutual harmony and bond and agreement with Islam and its promotion and also strong resistance against Imperialistic expansionism. Otherwise there is no alternative. Today the visage of American appears to be abhorred throughout the world.
The world of Islam today can withstand against this expansionism and it has to withstand, as no alternative except this is left for it.
In order to safeguard their interests, attract the emotions of their nations and in order to perform their historical responsibility, the Islamic countries have necessarily to rely upon the fundamental aspects of Islamic essence and identity. They have openly to defend the Palestinian nation. Accordingly they have to defend the Quranic characteristics and laws of Muslim nations in Europe, Asia and Africa as well as in their own countries. They have to further strengthen their mutual relations and ties. They should behave sincerely with each other and help and provide support to each other. In this way the Islamic Ummah can achieve emancipation from the shackles of servitude and subordination of imperialism and also get the world of Islam rescued from the imperialistic threats".
The Great Personalities of the Ummah have to safeguard the Affection, Peace and Tranquility of the Muslims from the Invasion of Seditions.
We have talked enough about unity. Whatever has been said up till now, if followed even little, the situation of the Muslims would have been better. Obviously some anti-unity elements and factors are there, among which the regional, religious, ethnic and even political differences can be named, and that need to be confronted.
To trust upon the divine name of Prophet of Islam (S.A.W), which is the centre of unity and integrity for Islamic Ummah, can provide the guarantee for curbing all these differences. But more complicated problems which are responsible for causing differences are being offered to Islamic Ummah. While taking advantage of these very regional, ethnic and religious differences, the enemies of Islam, under their old policies, cause division among Muslims.
On the background of these differences, the plots and designs of the enemy is being observed clearly. All this is to be checked. The wise and intelligent people of the nation, irrespective to what sect they belong, should not allow to successes the enemies’ plots based on creating division and disturb the growing affection and love and brotherly atmosphere among Muslims.
The holy Quran advises us about unity. The holy Quran cautions us that if you get your unity lost, you will lose your honour and dignity as well as your distinction and power.
Unfortunately, this split and division is obvious in the world of Islam today. A great plot is being designed against world of Islam. Although presently the great plots are being designed at high level in a well-organized manner, but on the other side the Islamic awareness of Islamic Ummah has put the enemies in utter frustration and desperation. The Imperialistic world, the present gluttonous people in Islamic countries and the existing agents of interference in Islamic countries and governments feel threat by the unity of Islamic Ummah.
In the total population of the world there are about one hundred fifty million Muslims and the territory that they occupy is a precious and most important region of this world. The great cultural heritage of the countries in this region, useful human resource and being a great market for the Western countries as well as the precious oil and gas sources, the region has become an attractive centre for arrogant powers. They want their complete occupation in these regions, but the awareness of Islamic Ummah is a great obstacle and hindrance in their way. The Islamic Unity is a great obstacle in the way of these enemies; therefore they are trying their utmost to remove this obstacle.
