The Obligation of Ulama regarding Islamic Unity

There is always a pivotal and effective role of ulama and luminaries in all social movements particularly in reformative activities. The ulama use to play a pivotal role in Islamic unity, reformation and in remedial measures for the evils based on discord and division in Islamic society. That is the reason, Sayyid Ali Khamenei demands from the enlightened and committed intellectuals to eliminate anti-unity elements from the society with the help of their enlightening thoughts.

The Truthful Ulama and Personnel Need to Face Provocative Elements
Nowadays some people due to their narrow mindedness, ignorance and hallow pretext declare a large number of Muslims as infidels and their killings as lawful. These people consciously or unconsciously are busy in aiding and serving the interests of adultery, polytheism and imperialism. They call the reverence, devotion and veneration in the majesty of Holy Prophet (S.A.W) and Ahlulbayt (A.S), which is absolutely religiosity and respect towards religion, as shirk and kufr (infidelity). Although they themselves remain busy in serving the infidels and oppressors while supporting their loathsome objectives. The truthful ulama, the responsible and committed enlightened intellectuals need to confront this dangerous kind of affairs.
The Islamic Unity and its establishment is a definite obligation today and the cooperation and coordination of convicted and devoted scholars to this effect can prove effective in order to tread the way of progress and action. These two pillars of dignity and honour, resistance and confrontation against imperialism, as well as brotherhood and friendship and alongside it the third essential thing devotion and submissiveness in the presence of God will become the cause for acquiring dignity and honour for the contemporary Muslims as that of the time of advent of Islam Muslims achieved and in this way the Islamic nations who have been the victims of disgrace, abhorrence and backwardness from centuries will thus attain emancipation.
The religious scholars should not remain silent against the religious conflicts. The enlightened intellectuals should not be negligent in creating the ray of hope in the hearts of youth. The politicians and men of action should motivate the people to show their presence in the field and they should have faith in the people. The Islamic governments should strengthen the unity and mutual and relations and also utilize this real force against imperialists.
It is too unfortunate that the minds and writings of the Islamic thinkers that should have been utilized for the sublimity of standard of Islam, elevating the dignity and honour of Muslims, is being utilized for creating fuss, highlighting of controversial issues, igniting conflicts and creating division among Muslims. They accuse one Muslim while condemn other as infidel. The ulama have to play a vital role towards unity as well as for creating an atmosphere to this effect. The clergy of both the sides have to shoulder equal responsibility in performing this obligation.

Ulama need to bring Harmony and Conformity between the Views of Different Islamic Sects

The Islamic jurists, ulama, logicians and philosophers need to interact and mutually evaluate and consolidate their views, so that the views of all the sects of Muslims can be presented in a consolidated form equally for all the Muslims. This is one of the most import jobs that can be expected, so that the individuals who are striving for it will make it to reach a successful end.
