The weakness of Islamic world is because of this discord and disunity. The prolonged weakness of Muslims today is also because of this separation. In every period there has been some disease existing and in present times the real disease of Muslims is absence of unity. You are observing that the centre of Imperialistic world in a crystal clear way and openly is taking stand against Islam. It faces Islam. These people are against Islam and are its enemies, because they know it very well that Islam possesses one fifth part of the world population and occupies a particular region of the world. It possesses the major sources of wealth and inherits the treasure of science and knowledge. It can establish a strong foothold against the global Imperialism by concentrating upon its possible resources of power and obviously this kind of strong and eternal power is unacceptable to global imperialism. There can be no reason of enmity besides this for them.
If Islamic Ummah would benefit well from its petro and human resources, industries, science and from myriad of its material and ethical resources, the superpowers and imperialists cannot impose their hegemony and domination upon them. You may observe that how far the atrocities of global imperialism are openly and disgracefully being inflicted upon Palestinian nation. A nation itself is suppressed by the usurpers at its own land. They are being suppressed in such a way that their rights are being violated, they are being killed, their right of living is being violated, their houses are being destroyed, their fields are being damaged, their business is being shuttered, their potentials and talents are being suppressed, and they are being deprived from possibilities of their progress and development. Their women, children and young people are constantly being massacred and some countries of global imperialism are supporting all this and some are lip tight. The world of Islam is also among the spectators. It is such a spectator who is impartial too. It is a great catastrophe for Islamic world. The reason behind this is also weakness of Islamic world and the difference found in it. We should accept the fact that the secret behind our power among the great community of Muslims is in the hearts of this great Ummah. We should accept this fact that it is these people who are making us to oppose each other and are keeping us busy under different pretexts. They are making us suspicious about each other, involve us in religious conflicts and keep us busy by creating regional and national issues. They are misusing our disunity and differences. It is a great misfortune for us in the present scenario, which can be described as a great catastrophe.

Adding Fuel to the Enmity – A Fatal Disease of Islamic Ummah
Our prime issue in the Islamic world is Islamic unity. If we overpower the excuses of enemy and may thwart his plots that he designs for creating division, most of our perplexities would be removed. This is one of the foremost troubles of Islamic world which can be put to an end. We are held in most terrible disease which is to be removed. Creating of division, disunity and to fuel the enmity in the Islamic world is a terrible disease and I would like to say that if this disease would have been there naturally in the past in the body of Islamic Ummah and Islamic world then today it is rigorously being intensified by the political elements. Its examples are being witnessed openly in the Islamic world that terrifies a man. We never get frightened by the external enemy. America and other arrogant forces till now have not been successful in getting us terrified. Their military invasions based on enmity and their political and propagation and military and economic sanctions have not been successful in deserting us and in future they are not in a position to do so. But we get terrified and horrified by the disease found in the Islamic world itself. It is to be checked.

The Global Imperialism is trying its Utmost in Creating Division among Muslims
In this friendly atmosphere, I would like to emphasize more upon the importance of the issue of unity. We don’t want to say that this is very essential and important for Islamic Republic; however, for Islamic Republic, there is no doubt in its significance. In fact it is most important for Islam and Islamic world. You may appreciate, today the world is divided into many parts, i.e., in a corner of the world some countries get united with each other in accordance to some petty relativities, simply because no one in this world can fulfill the needs of his country for example the defensive needs of his country at its own level. Therefore, it needs unity and cooperation. Although, the governments and the powers governing the world make unity and cooperation under the strategies and policies of the government, but all the efforts of the imperialistic world are being utilized for weakening and creating division and differences among the nations particularly the Islamic Ummah.

The Islamic World today is in need of Unity
Today what I emphasize is that amongst the first and foremost duties of we Muslims is the matter of unity and cooperation. Islamic unity is the need of the hour. However, the elements of differences do exist too; therefore there is a need to overpower these elements. No major objective is achieved without constant efforts. The unity among Muslims too cannot be achieved without pains and efforts. It is our obligation that we should try to bring unity in the world of Islam. This unity can resolve various complications. This unity can bring dignity and honour to the Islamic societies and nations. You see what the situation of Islamic countries is. Today you are witnessing the situations of Muslims, who population consist one fourth of the world population. What a pitiable and poor influence they have over the world politics in comparison to alien powers and the powers with nefarious designs.

Islamic Unity an Obligation
In the opinion of Hazrat Ayatullah Uzma Sayyid Ali Khamenei (May Allah shower His grace upon him) the issue of Unity of Muslims is the focal point of Islamic teachings and it should be considered as a religious obligation.
In view of misappropriation of discrepancies and differences found amongst Muslims and exploitation of some preliminary religious laws and ordinances by the hands of imperialists and its steady expansion, the Supreme Leader deems it essential to bring the remedy of unity into existence.
In fact, if we want to find any solution to the problems of the Islamic world or better to say, if we are making efforts for the dignity and honour of Islam and Quran and for restoration of its grace, then this thing isn’t in any way favourable and conducive with the differences of the Muslims. Imam Khomeini (R.A) continued this mission even before the success of revolution and highly recommended it and after the success of revolution, he put it in the top priority list of the issues.
Although the Imperialists had already declared the policy of diversity and division in the top priorities of their objectives, but after the triumph of Islamic revolution and after the centre of Islamic unity came into existence, the activities based on divide and division by America and its allies got further expedited and accelerated. They made the Muslim brethren to fight each other and started ransack and massacre. In the whole Muslim world today the paid writers have made it their profession and strategy to create division among Muslims, spending treasure of wealth and petro dollars of allies of American reactionaries for this purpose.
They now it very well that there is power of attraction in Islam and the centre of this revolution may attract the attention of all the Muslims of the world towards itself, therefore it has created a threat for America and Imperialism that their investment for creating division among Muslims may not get lost. Therefore, they have further accelerated their efforts.
Today the wealth is consumed over Zerar type mosques in the world. In order to create separation and division in Islamic unity and between various Islamic sects, the organizations and centres are being established today. There are people like Satan, who said to Allah:

“I will certainly cause them all to strayâ€‌: 1:39
Thus Satan made his existence particular for deceiving and misleading the creation of God from the right path. Accordingly, he endowed his existence for creating split and division. It is unfortunate that some people in all or most of the Islamic countries are doing the same job while following American policies. We believe that Islam has made unity obligatory upon Muslims and believers, who are monotheists and who believe in one God. We also believe that one of the objectives of Hajj pilgrimage is to make the Muslims to come close to each other. God says:

“And proclaim the hajj to the people. They will then come to you from every remote way, on foot, and on lean camelsâ€‌. 22:27
By this verse Allah intends to get the Muslims of the world assembled on a particular day at the places like Arafat, Mina, Mash'ar and Masjid-ul-Haram. So why the people are so much frightened by the Muslims that they get acquainted with each other? In fact, the Islamic unity and the thoughts of concordance and harmony is a great threat for the global imperialism and under its leadership like traitor America and the whole world under his imperialistic sources.
You should pay attention towards two things what Imam Khomeini (R.A) has said. The first and foremost among them is sincerity which is source of all things and second is Islamic unity which is a major objective.
However, our great Imam has sowed this seed. Now whether American would like it or not, the plant of revolution of Islam and Islamic revolution is in growing situation and development. The reactionaries and the individuals allied to America would like it or not, this movement shall continue to go ahead. Now it will no more to be hampered by the enemies. However, God forbid, the believers themselves may not make any harm to it due to their misdeeds. Otherwise, this way could be tread easily and the objective is very clear and the enemy is not in a position to stop this way.

The Need of Unity even for holding Fast the Rope of Allah
The Quran in a crystal clear way says:

“And hold fast to the Rope of God all togetherâ€‌. 3: 103
Why don’t some people look at this great front? We have to hold fast the Rope of Allah all together. The Rope of Allah can even be hold fast individually too, but Quran says:

Be all together and don’t be divided. Even though some people would perform this act of â€کholding fast to the Rope of Allah’, but some people are holding fast to the Rope of Satan i.e., being connected with Devil. Holding fast with the Rope of Allah is to be performed all together. It is a great challenge for the Islamic world.

Today there is Need of Unity for Muslim Ummah for its Survival, Success and Emancipation
One of the important aspects that demands unity among Muslims are the threats and cautions that the Islamic world is facing today. These threats and admonitions are of such a nature that Muslim Ummah seems to possess no power of resistance against it due to differences and divisions. However, if Muslims would unite with each other and would emerge as a united front and also in view of present economic and human strength, it would be too easy for Islamic countries to confront against the problems and threats that enemies of Islam have created.
Today the world of Islam and Islamic Ummah is facing great troubles and hardships. It is true that most of the troubles have come into existence by the own hands of the Muslims. Due to our egotism, worldliness along with our lethargic, sluggish and negligent approach, we have been instrumental in creating hurdles in the evolutionary development of Muslim Ummah. Now, it is too enough. We have to attempt as a fresh. We should repent for our previous mistakes. However, no doubt, various troubles of the contemporary history are the outcome of the past and present erroneous system.
This system is not based on human life; instead it encompasses the rule of jungle. You see what the influential people are doing due to pride of power. All these people forcibly on the logic of weaponry and political hegemony and also due to supremacy of wealth project wrong and irrational things as defendable and logical and accordingly act upon it. These people are openly and explicitly committing the misdeeds that are declared crimes in the eyes of nations of the world and as eyewash they commit it under various titles. Although they know it very well that nobody accepts it and sometimes they don’t even give it any name nor conceal it. The usurper regime of Zionists openly officially supports it. This is modern world order! You see what is happening in Iraq? The situation of Islamic Ummah is such … The crime of Muslim Ummah is only that it is located at a most fertile and rich place of the world because the system of the contemporary civilized world depends upon the sources that are abundantly found in this region of the world. Therefore, it has become a focal point of the gluttony of the superpowers. For this reason these people legalize every kind of their crime and invasion. This is the situation of Islamic Ummah.

Isn’t Islamic Ummah ready to resist against this aggression of the aggressors?
Yes, why not? We can defend. We have much more sources available for defending our sovereignty and rights. We are having sufficient human as well as commercial resource available. We are among prominent people. We are having such ethical resources available that will morally encourage us to show resistance against the arrogant powers. We possess he unique and unparalleled culture and civilization in the world. We are having sufficient resources at our disposal and therefore we can defend our rights with our full might. But why don’t we defend? Practically why don’t we perform in the field? It is because we are not united. We have been separated under various excuses. The great and solid army namely Muslim Ummah has been divided into groups, who always try to be engaged with each other, be fearful to each other and be busy in fighting each other. In such a situation, nothing is possible to be got done by this army.
Now the time has come that the world of Islam may review its position and may seriously think about the issue of unity. The threats and intimidation of USA in the region are not particular only to one or two countries; instead it is for all. Today the plot of the Zionist rulers under the patronage of America is not only to capture a particular region; instead it has laid ambush for grabbing the whole region. Today they openly and plainly say that the greater Middle East is the part of their plan.
About fifty years before when the usurper regime of Zionism came into existence and about one hundred years before when this thought came in the minds of Westerners and European circles, the intension and the objective was simply to capture and grab the region as they needed it. They are least bothered about the people of this region. The threat is looming for all. It is wise that all the people may think over it and may unite. Our earnest request to the Islamic governments and nations is that they should ponder over it and work for it, which needs hardworking and to this effect the accessibility to preliminaries are required too. However, the enemy too will not sit idle instead it would be in search of its old practice of creating division. The enemy would exploit the regional and linguistic possibilities and would try to take advantage of all those things, which have strictly been prohibited by Islam. Islam has insisted that region, country, race are no more standards for significance and identity.

“Verily the most honoured among you in the sight of God is the most piousâ€‌. 49:13.
Islam has emphasized that all the Muslims should live and behave with each other like brothers. It has never said that if someone is Shia and someone is Sunni or someone is following a particular religion, he is to be treated in such and such way; instead it is has said that the believers are brethren. 49:10.

Whosoever believes in this holy book, Quran, this religion and Qiblah, he is a believer and all these believers are brethren to each other. Islam has taught all this to us. But we are hiding draggers behind us for stabbing it into the bosoms of our brothers. In every segment and organ there are mischievous persons. We have to stop them and resist against them. There is need of unity for the survival of Islamic Ummah and its prosperity and emancipation and for keeping the standard of Islam furled. Therefore for all such issues, what is the logic that can withstand in paving way for any disunity and division? The unity is having a priority over all preferences. Why don’t we understand the need for unity amongst Muslims? We are having heavy responsibility on our shoulders and the situation is very critical. Because, if enemy forcibly occupies this region, the world of Islam will go hundred years back like imperialistic period. It shall also lag hundred years behind the industrial and developed world.
We are answerable for all this. It becomes an obligation for us today. The responsibility lies on the shoulders of regimes, prominent personalities, experts, and the religious and cultural figures. We all are responsible for the unity of Islamic world. The thing which our great Imam (R.A) emphasized upon more, before the success of Islamic revolution and even up to the last days of his life, was the unity amongst Muslims and that the petty things need not to be presented as big issues under various pretexts. Today we are witnessing the fact that these admonitions and advices were too prudent and correct.

The Resistance against Oppression and Relying upon Its Own Power and Belief – the Only Option left for Muslim Ummah
If Muslims would focus over the activities of enemies of Islam, they will observe that they are concentrating on those aspects which are related to the life and survival of Islamic society and one of these aspects is the unity which is found among Muslims, for the annihilation of which the activities based on creating differences and division by the enemies of Islam continues to go on. Therefore, the Muslims need to remain vigilant and careful. Also they need to be ensured that the Muslims need to bring the unity into existence and the role for the fate of world of Islam is of great importance.
It is the day of unity for the Islamic world. Today you are observing that how much investment the enemy is making for getting even this feeble unity annihilated, so that under different excuses it can create division among different Islamic groups, tribes and nations. These people may kill each other; develop hatred against each other, so that the people shall remain negligent about the real enemies of Islamic world and about those who are designing plots for dominating this region of the world.
Palestine is not be left today on its own mercy. Nowadays lot of atrocities is being inflicted upon the nation of Palestine. The so-called supporters of human rights, the Europeans, have turned deaf, dumb and blind أ•أµأ£أ± أˆأµثœأ؛أ£أ± أڑأµأ£أ؛یأ± and the legitimate elected government of Palestine is being criticized and have taken an opposite stand against it. All this is because of disunity among Muslims and the egotism of politicians and responsible personalities of the world of Islam.
We have to awaken. We should understand that our resolutions would determine the historical fate of Islamic world. However, these resolutions simply don’t relate to us and for our age only. Today no alternative is left with Islamic Ummah except to believe on its own power and may not submit to repression and oppression and may determine that it may not yield before tyranny. We do not invite the Islamic nations to wage war against the countries of the world; instead we advise that Muslims should recognize their right, values, self-respect, dignity as well as the honour of their nations and their glorious past and heritage. They should give due respect to these things and believe in it and never allow that the world of transgression and infidelity, which is in the grip of Zionists today, may look upon these things. The holy Quran says:

“Grievous to him is your falling into distressâ€‌. 9:128.
Your troubles and the grievances of the world of Islam cause distress and discomfort for the Prophet of Islam (S.A.W). أچأ³أ‘أ¶یأ؛أ•أ± أڑأ³أ،أ³یأ؛ثœأµأ£أ؛ “Solicitous regarding your welfareâ€‌ 9:128. He wants guidance for you and wants to see you prosperous. He wants the right way that has been opened to you and which is bliss for this world and the world hereafter; you get benefited and prosperous by it. The Prophet of Islam (S.A.W) wants all this from us.

The Islamic Ummah needs Unanimity, Sympathy and Mutual Cooperation
Today Islam is being confronted at a great level. Why don’t’ we understand? Why other people don’t observe this great confrontation? It is like the â€کWar of Confederates’ (al-Ahzab). Different groups, who are against Islam and they have no business with morality and the truth, have opened united front against Islam. They are active in searching about weak aspects so that they can take an advantage of this and open the way for having an access and may invade us from this way of entry. However, Hajj can stop them from this action.
One thing is the issue of division among Islamic Ummah. They are working seriously upon it. They are highlighting the differences. They are strengthening the divergent tendencies on both Shia and Sunni fronts. On the Shia front under the Shia title they support Qarmatism - like Qaramita - and discern sedition and amongst Sunnis they support tendency of Nasibism in the name of Ahlul Sunnah and make both the sects to stand in opposite fronts. We have to be cautious and vigilant and be in a position to understand the things. These are the fundamental issues that need to be attended by the Islamic world. The world of Islam today needs unanimity, feeling of sympathy and cooperation. One should understand the issue of unity seriously. Well organized plots are being designed today by the think tanks and the centers of conspiracy in order to get the strife and conflicts raised in the world of Islam and also get the regimes on the one hand and the nations on the other involved in confrontation and conflictions. Whenever any voice is raised among Islamic governments and any attempt is made that make the Muslims to come close, all of a sudden it is observed that some foreign element or any Zionist or American agent comes forward and creates obstacles in the way of these relations. Also when the governments come close to each other, he creates hurdles there too. He repeats this action among the nations too. Normally, there exists no such issue between the nations; therefore he comes up with the religious, ethnic and regional issues, so that they would fight each other. These are the things if not paid attention we are defeated by the enemy. If we may not pay attention the Islam gets hampered. Today in the centers of global imperialism the enmity against Islam has become evident. Although verbally they are refusing but it is evident that they have enmity with Islam and oppose it. It doubles our responsibilities and obligations.

The only way of salvation for Muslims is Unity, Islamic Resistance and Pressurizing the Enemies
Since the influx of European imperialism in the Islamic countries, it has been their categorical strategy to create division among the Muslims. These people are sometimes inciting this policy by the tools of sectarianism and nationalism and unfortunately, despite the reformists and the pioneers of unity raised their voices; this tactics of the enemy has been successful to some extent in inflicting blows and losses over the structure of Islamic Ummah.
Although the process of exciting the differences between Shia and Sunni and encouraging of Arabian and non-Arabian, Asian and African, Turkish and Iranian nationalism was initiated by the foreigners but unfortunately this policy is presently being continued by the hands of so-called own people, who either due to ignorance or due to servitude to aligners are active in benefiting the enemies. This policy is in progress. Sometimes the range of this deviation gets widened to the extent that some Muslim regimes make investments in order to create differences among various Islamic sects and nations. Even some rental and so-called scholars condemn those Islamic sects as infidels, whose glorious past in Islamic history is too evident. It is obligatory on the part of Muslims to identify the wicked elements of such misdeeds, who in the background are sponsored by the great Satan and its wicked agents. They should expose such traitors. Those people who offer subjugation, alliance to some simple Muslims, none among them can resolve the problems of Muslims and neither paves way for their salvation. There is only one remedy for it that is unity of Muslims and also to remain obedient to the fundamentals and values of Islam and building extensive pressure upon the enemy and put them in trouble. Today the world of Islam has focused its eyes upon voluntary mobilization of the courageous youths of all Muslim countries that these people may fulfill their historical role while defending Islam.

The Muslim Governments Need to Rely Upon the Fundamental Aspects of Essence of Islamic Ummah
Hazrat Ayatullah Uzma Sayyid Ali Khamenei while considering the existence of unity in all Islamic activities for resistance against arrogant powers and defending the interests of Islamic Ummah declares the preservation of unity essential obligation for all Muslim nations and governments.
"For the Islamic world today the only way for saving the interests of Islamic nations lies in the restoration of unity under the shadow of Islam and also in rejection of the designs and goals of imperialists. The objective of imperialists is annihilation of the religious and national identification of Islamic world particularly in the Middle East. The resistance against this objective is possible and practicable only with mutual harmony and bond and agreement with Islam and its promotion and also strong resistance against Imperialistic expansionism. Otherwise there is no alternative. Today the visage of American appears to be abhorred throughout the world.
The world of Islam today can withstand against this expansionism and it has to withstand, as no alternative except this is left for it.
In order to safeguard their interests, attract the emotions of their nations and in order to perform their historical responsibility, the Islamic countries have necessarily to rely upon the fundamental aspects of Islamic essence and identity. They have openly to defend the Palestinian nation. Accordingly they have to defend the Quranic characteristics and laws of Muslim nations in Europe, Asia and Africa as well as in their own countries. They have to further strengthen their mutual relations and ties. They should behave sincerely with each other and help and provide support to each other. In this way the Islamic Ummah can achieve emancipation from the shackles of servitude and subordination of imperialism and also get the world of Islam rescued from the imperialistic threats".

We have talked enough about unity. Whatever has been said up till now, if followed even little, the situation of the Muslims would have been better. Obviously some anti-unity elements and factors are there, among which the regional, religious, ethnic and even political differences can be named, and that need to be confronted.
To trust upon the divine name of Prophet of Islam (S.A.W), which is the centre of unity and integrity for Islamic Ummah, can provide the guarantee for curbing all these differences. But more complicated problems which are responsible for causing differences are being offered to Islamic Ummah. While taking advantage of these very regional, ethnic and religious differences, the enemies of Islam, under their old policies, cause division among Muslims.
On the background of these differences, the plots and designs of the enemy is being observed clearly. All this is to be checked. The wise and intelligent people of the nation, irrespective to what sect they belong, should not allow to successes the enemies’ plots based on creating division and disturb the growing affection and love and brotherly atmosphere among Muslims.
The holy Quran advises us about unity. The holy Quran cautions us that if you get your unity lost, you will lose your honour and dignity as well as your distinction and power.
Unfortunately, this split and division is obvious in the world of Islam today. A great plot is being designed against world of Islam. Although presently the great plots are being designed at high level in a well-organized manner, but on the other side the Islamic awareness of Islamic Ummah has put the enemies in utter frustration and desperation. The Imperialistic world, the present gluttonous people in Islamic countries and the existing agents of interference in Islamic countries and governments feel threat by the unity of Islamic Ummah.
In the total population of the world there are about one hundred fifty million Muslims and the territory that they occupy is a precious and most important region of this world. The great cultural heritage of the countries in this region, useful human resource and being a great market for the Western countries as well as the precious oil and gas sources, the region has become an attractive centre for arrogant powers. They want their complete occupation in these regions, but the awareness of Islamic Ummah is a great obstacle and hindrance in their way. The Islamic Unity is a great obstacle in the way of these enemies; therefore they are trying their utmost to remove this obstacle.
It is the time for Practical Unity to Thwart Every Kind of Sedition.
The Islamic World today is in more need of Unity and unanimity and holding fast the holy Quran. On the other, the capability of restoration of grace and dignity and expansion has become more evident today; and also the reinstatement of grace and honour has once again become the motor and interest for the revolutionary youth. The hypocritical slogans of the oppressors have lost their spirit and their ill will for the Muslim Ummah got gradually exposed.
On the other side, the global plunderers who dream to expand their domination throughout the world got frightened with the unity of Islamic Ummah and their awareness and they deem it an obstacle against their devastating design. Therefore, they try to keep themselves before and above it.
It is the day for practical brotherhood against every kind of sedition and for every period. It is the day for preparing the grounds for the government of Imam of the time, Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his appearance). It is the day for responding the divine call from every side. It is the day in which after recitations of the verse أ‡أ¶أ¤أ¸أ³أ£أ‡أ³ أ‡أ،أ؛أ£أµأ„أ³أ£أ¶أ¤أµأ¦أ؛أ¤أ³ أ‡أ¶أژأ؛أ¦أ³ۃأ± “The believers are brethrenâ€‌ (49:10) and the verse:

“Do not say to anyone who extends a greeting of peace to you: “you are not a believer’â€‌ (4:94) and the verse:

“Vehement against the infidels, compassionate among themselves: (48:29) one needs to enlighten his heart. We are inviting Muslims towards unity. This unity is not against Christians or other religions and nations; instead besides its being against aggressors, usurpers and war mongers, it is for implementation of values and morals, reinstatement of rationality and Islamic justice and also scientific, economic progress and restoration of Islamic grace and dignity.
We want to remind the people of the world when Baitul Maqdis was under the domination of Muslims during the period of Khulafa-e-Rashideen (Guided Khulafa), the Christians and Jews were enjoying safe and secure life, but when today the Quds and other Centers are under the domination of Zionists and Zionist Crusaders, how far the massacre of Muslims is justified?

The Great Obstacle in Islamic Leadership and Rule is Division among Muslims
The Supreme Leader while emphasizing upon the need of unity highlighted the aspect that for proceed towards the fundamentals of religion of Islam the preliminary requirement is unity. Also in order to achieve its objectives, as well as in order to remove the obstacles in the way of unity that have been created by misunderstandings, the world of Islam is in need of mutual cooperation and coordination. It is obligatory upon Islamic Ummah to achieve its objectives vis-أ -vis ensuring safety and security of Islamic dignity and honour, Islamic domination and restoration of its real status.
Presently no effort is being spared so that Muslims may not unite instead contradict each other. These efforts have been accelerated at the time when there was need for harmony and unanimity more than before. Of course the objective and motive of the enemies behind all these efforts is to bring the idea of Islamic leadership, which presently has taken a practical shape, at a standstill position.
Obviously, if Islam wants to accomplish command and control and the Muslims in the world of Islam want to have association with Islam, in that case the objective cannot be achieved while having division and discrepancy with each other. The most agonizing thing in the way of Islamic command and control is that the Muslims are made to confront each other, either within the Islamic societies or in a country or in various countries.
If the media of any country is engaged in campaigning against the Islamic sect of any other country and the media of other country is making a counter attack against it, this thing is considered as laying the foundation of political conflicts, making various groups to confront each other on the ideological and fanatical basis and this is the main obstacle in the way of not achieving the target of Islamic governance.

Exclusively the Unity is Antidote to the Fetal for Islamic World
If the world of Islam wants to lead the profound movement of Islamic Ummah towards direction of success in a rightful style, then some necessities are to be taken into consideration and one of them is â€کIslamic Unity and harmony ’.
Let others fight has always been among the priorities of the imperialism, which is an admitted fact since long. The policy of divide and rule is an old story. It is talk of the town and all know about it. Despite that, it is unfortunate that our enemy always happens to adopt this very policy and we are negligent about it, because we are clicked to our incorrect analysis, suspicions and giving preference to our short or long term individual interests and caprices and are following it.
You may appreciate that under imperialistic policies; the Palestinians are engaged in fighting with Palestinians, Iraqis with Iraqis, Shia with Sunnis and Arabs with non-Arab societies. All these policies and known to each and every one. A joint venture is needed to be made to get the problem resolved.
The Islamic organizations are caretakers of the whole Islamic world. All of us should live in cooperation with each other, support and help each other. All Islamic governments and Islamic nations too are included in it. Accordingly while taking the advantage of the capabilities of Islamic nations for the greater unity; the Islamic governments can perform a great and important role. There are certain things that prove obstacle in the way of unity; most of them are unawareness and wrong thinking and beliefs. They don’t have latest updates and in some things one becomes suspicious and accordingly misunderstanding about beliefs and thoughts of others gets created. Shia with Sunnis and Sunnis with Shia or one Muslim nation with other Muslim nation or one neighbor with other neighbor is creating misunderstandings against each other and the enemy too is taking full advantage of this misunderstanding. Unfortunately the people too are not serious about this misunderstanding and wrong analysis and the policies and plots of enemies, with the result they happen to be the tools in the hands of enemies and the enemy too exploits the situation. Sometimes it happens so that a slightest factor compels one to take such a stand and makes one to react that the enemy under it is collective plans by taking advantage of it, becomes successful in inciting divisiveness among brothers.
In the present scenario, the only remedy to be prescribed as appropriate cure for the Islamic world is the medicine of unity. The people need to be united with each other. The enlightened, Islamic intellectuals, scholars and ulama jointly need to prepare the manifesto of Islamic unity in such a way that no individual or any group, affiliated with a prejudiced group, cannot freely declare a large number of Muslims as infidels, while declaring them out of Islam. The compilation of the manifesto is among the things that the present history demands from the intellectuals and the scholars of Islam. If you will not do this work today, you are answerable to the next generation. As you are watching the hostile activities of the enemies, now you need to sit together and find a solution. Preference is to be given to principles over sub-issues. Possibly in sub-issues some people may differ. Let it be, but the common things are much more. All should come together within the sphere of general points and may focus upon the plots of enemy.
We should be aware about the plots of enemy. Let the prominent people have religious discussions in a particular manner, but not let it to be a public issue. They should not pollute and confuse one others heart. They should not provoke enmity. It is to be avoided whether it may be among different sects of Muslims, Islamic nations or among different groups of a nation.
The thing that matters for the world of imperialism is Islam. They want to target Islam. All the people have to understand it. It least matters for them whether one is Shia or Sunni. All those who belong to any nation and religion and the group, if they are more devoted to Islam, these people are scared of them; they ought to be so too. In fact Islam is a threat for expansionist objectives of imperialism and it is absolutely not any threat for non-Muslims.

Genuine Islam Signifies the Islam that is based on Unity and Monotheism
The only way for the restoration of dignity and honour and stature and identity for the world of Islam is return towards Islam. However, this retrocession is to be made towards genuine Islam and not towards dry Islam (pseudo Islam), which is based on superstitions and distortions which is being propagated and offered as Islam. This kind of pseudo Islam is not of any use. Same is true with so-called Islam that has been styled according American principles and in accordance to the choice of westerners. All this is American branded Islam about which our Supreme Leader (R.A), while making us aware about it said that this is “American Islamâ€‌ and contrarily it there is “Pure Islamâ€‌, which is monotheistic and it creates an atmosphere of unity among Islamic Ummah. The Islam that declares

“God will not make a way for the infidels (to triumph) over the believersâ€‌ 4:141 is

“always having an upper hand and is invulnerableâ€‌ and also declares

“Had the people of the towns believed and feared God, We would have opened up for them blessings from the heavens and the earthâ€‌. 7:96
The return towards this very Islam is the only remedy for Islamic Ummah and it is possible too. The process of return towards Islam has begun from east to west and this is what has wreaked havoc to anti-Islamic powers.

Division not by Nations but from the Regimes having un-Islamic Designs
In the light of the speeches of Hazrat Ayatullah Sayyid Ali Khamenei the importance of unity gets doubled when it becomes evident that the basic cause of division and divisiveness is the difference found in the Islamic governments, and the common Muslims have no role in it, although the most suffered by the outcomes of these differences are Muslim nations. On the other side the world imperialist people, while benefiting from the weakness and differences of Islamic governments, enhance their pressure upon Muslim Ummah.
There is hardly any region in the world where Muslims are not under pressure due to sufferings caused by nuisance and expansionism of global imperialism. There is no treatment for this except the resistance of Muslims, their mutual understandings and unity, Islamic awakening and the utilization of great strength and power of Islamic world.
The Islamic countries and Islamic societies considerable number of subterranean resources, wealth and ammunition available, still why are not we in a position to defend ourselves? Why don’t we unite; after all why? It is because the countries that were duty bound to provide grounds for the unity, are having separate objectives. They are having their separate nationalistic, agnostic and a non-Islamic agenda. However, the people of the nation are united. Which two nations are having enmity with each other and are envious and jealous to each other? After eight years’ war, the two nations of Iran and Iraq are embracing each other. This war never belongs to nations. There is no difference among nations; instead the difference happens to be among the regimes that are having anti-Islamic motives. This is necessarily to be checked out. The demands and desires of the nations are to be fulfilled in the countries and the regions of the world and the governments too ought to accept the ways of the nations and follow these ways and that is Islamic revitalization, following Quran and not to fear the enemies.
The governments need not to fear America. Other nations need not to fear too. They should not get frightened with American threatening, nor need to desist from their objectives. There is a need for resistance against these threats. We should have full faith in Almighty and God willing the future is ours.

Unity among Muslims is absolutely Obligatory and Exclusively Possible too
If all the Islamic countries would unanimously utter a word, no power in the world would act against it. If you would see the world today the position is same. If the rulers of the present Islamic governments would unanimously refuse any economic or political issue, no power of the world is in a position to turn their denial into affirmation. No problem, whatever they would like to do.
You should encourage and promulgate unity. However, we don’t say that this unity would immediately come into existence. Obviously it needs sufficient time and space for deliberations, having confidence and put something into practice. However, what we observe today are the examples of spreading notion of division and instability. We have to challenge it and struggle against it. Muslims are to be made understand that unity among them is absolutely an obligation and exclusively possible too.
Though it is already there that this aspect is to be elaborated, made to understand and needs to be promulgated through different ways, even the common people who are proceeding for performing their Hajj obligations and while meeting and interacting with the pilgrims of other countries, they need to highlight this issue though briefly in their discussions too.
Who are the people in the world who can be identified at a glance? And also who are the supporters of unity? Is God, Prophets and Men of God pleased or angry with this unity? All these things could be understood by the average religious and Islamic conscious in all the common religions of Muslims.

Islamic Unity - Basic Condition for Islamic Dominance
It is important to focus more on Islamic unity today. Since the disunity has always paved way for incursion of enemies in Islamic societies therefore the ways for long term division and split used to continue to spread over two hundred or five hundred years. Because of this a kind of imperialistic constitution used to come into existence that hampered the structure of Islamic world in such a way that it became difficult to be cured instantly. It is the result of division and split that the fabricated sects like Wahabism and other such sects comes into existence that have been presented only for creating divisions in the world of Islam. Today they have to face the manifestation of unique unity that came into existence by Muslims, which is titled as Islamic Republic. This lofty standard is a new manifestation whose fundamental constitution, slogan and action is according to Islam and naturally the heart of all Muslims of the world is beating for it. With full surety and authority it can be said that nowhere in the world the Islamic rules and regulations are so seriously being implemented with such vigor and will. It doesn’t mean nations, because everywhere the Muslim nations are well-wishers of Islam and ready to follow it. Instead it means such policies, systems and government, who have initiated their own activities in the name of Islam, but after facing harsh challenges at global level they turned back. As we are Muslims therefore we need to think over it seriously. We need to understand that the wealth acquired through petroleum of this country, which is known among Muslim nations as American puppet and it has become evident now that they have total alliance with imperialism, are spending it in publishing anti-Shia literature. This job is not done for the pleasure of God or for the love and affection of Sunnis; instead they are following to actualize their own vicious objectives or for some other purposes. If we observe that any Shia community sentiments are being incited against Ahlul Sunnah brethren society or some derogatory steps are being taken against them, it should not be attributed to any mental instability or suspicion; instead it should be understood that definitely the enemy is behind this plot. The enemy even tries to take more advantage from misdeeds and wrong behavior. Therefore, in the present era the unity of Muslims and their affection for each other only is the fundamental condition for supremacy of Islam.
If one is not interested in the dominance of Islam then there is no obligation on your shoulders, but in case one is supporter of Quran and Islam, whether he belongs to any sect or faith and is sincere and by heart is interested in the magnificence and graciousness of Quran, then he should know that the corrupt hired media and the hue and cry raised for division and disunion are the hurdles in the way of magnificence of Islam and it is the job of enemy. If we are united and maintain our brethren and may shun away our differences, it would blunt the sward of the enemy and it may lessen the apprehension of losses for the world of Islam.

The Real Need of Muslims today is Dependent on their Reciprocation to Islam as well as Islamic Unity
The instance that has doubled the importance of unity in Muslim Ummah is the scenario and challenges that the world of Islam is facing today. Although the troubles have always been there in the way of Islamic objectives but in present scenario these troubles got enhanced and comparatively the Islamic unity further became an inevitable requirement.
In fact what is unfortunate and agony about Muslims of the world today is that they pay less attention towards what they need to focus more and that is return towards Islam, belief in Islamic power and the unity and stability in the relations of Muslims. The reason is that today the enemies of Islam have taken a tough and open stand against this religion. In the past too there has been hostility and confrontation against Islam, but today it is more harsh, open and stern. The name of wicked alliance of America and Zionism is topping the list of leaders of these enemies. America is topping the list of tyrannical powers of the world and Zionism is notorious for being the main hurdle in restoration of relations among Muslims, spreading political embezzlements and being instrumental in discarding the movement of progress and development among Muslim countries and working for this very purpose. Both of these are united with each other. It would have been better if the leaders of Islamic countries may appreciate the sublimity and significance of Islam that bestowed authority and personality to them and which confer strength and resistance against oppressors and bestows self-determination. Regrettably the Muslim leaders are unaware about the sublimity and significance of this great blessing.

The First and Foremost Slogan of Muslim Ummah must be the Slogan of Unity
The Islamic unity has been hampered today by the religious, national, and ethnic and nationalistic slogans in different nations and also by other deviating slogans and by creating division.
The Muslims should give preference to the slogans that are based on unity and harmony than other slogans vis-أ -vis national, religious or political. This is most constructive slogan for them in the present scenario. We know that the imperialists and arrogant and alien powers have tried their utmost to axe this unity by different excuses and one of the most tragic pretext is occupation of Palestinian lands i.e., planting the tree of evil in the heart of Islamic countries namely Zionism.
The second aspect too is morally oriented too. When the imperialists came they looted our wealth, our oil, our sovereignty, our dignity and honour and our unity and harmony. Simultaneously, they looted our morality too and they spread the trap of materialism under different cultures and false rules. Today the slogan of Muslims should be based on revitalization of Islamic morality, truth and religious spirituality. Muslims need it today. If we were united today and would had trust over Islamic morality, the enemy wouldn’t have been in a position to inflict atrocities openly over Palestinian nation by way of pressure, torture and oppression. The plight of Palestine makes all the sympathizing human hearts to weep and makes one restless, though one is not more religious.
Is there anybody who would dare to watch the heartrending scene of burial procession of two year baby and have a peaceful dream? Is there anyone who is not distressed to see that people, whose ancestors lived centuries ago there even decade in their graves, are under siege in their own houses, lanes, roads and cities? Today the people have been captivated in Baytul-Maqdis, al-Khalil, Gaza and other regions of usurped lands. People are being massacred in their own houses. The parents are made to mourn for their children even in their homes. They are being left for starvation and economic sanctions are being imposed upon them.
If the Islamic powers would have been united, was all this possible? It is imperative upon all Muslim nations and governments that they should unite for this purpose.

Unity for Domination and Service of Islam
Hazrat Ayatullah Uzma Sayyid Ali Khamenei instructs those who are longing for unity that it should be for the domination and supremacy of Islam. In other words whatever His Excellency has made a mention about the subjects and reminders based on requirement of unity, these need to be moved as objectives and motives towards unity, otherwise merely Islamic unity cannot serve the purpose.
There are two basic aspects about Unity which are very important. When we raise the slogan of unity we have to focus on two main aspects which can prove useful in the practical life of Muslims. These two aspects are putting an end to all those differences, conflicts and violations which are being found from centuries among different sects of Muslims up till now and these differences have always hampered the Muslims. The second aspect is that this unity should be utilized in the services and domination of Islam; otherwise it may end with no outcome and output. The Islamic scholars agree with the fact that Quran has said:

“We did not send any messenger but to be obeyed by God’s permissionâ€‌. 4:64
The Prophets (S.A.W) had not come only that they may advise people and may utter things and people may do their own business and only respect them; instead they have come so that people may following them. They have come for guidance of the society and life. They have come to guide human beings towards the objectives of life and establishment of system. If Islamic scholars agree with the fact that the noble Quran says:

“Indeed We sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and We sent down with them the Book and the Scale that people might establish themselves in justiceâ€‌. 57:25
The restoration of justice and peace and eradication of tyranny and injustice and also establishment of truthful life for human being is the objective of religions. Therefore one has to go ahead for Islamic domination and the Islamic domination is a possible affair in the countries and also in Islamic societies. If the scholars, thinkers and intellectuals and the responsible personalities of the Islamic countries, societies and nations, who are making efforts for the unity if follow the path of Islam, it will be a successful move. But if it is not so and they may bow before oppressors and tyrants and infidels and incompetent rulers, obviously there is no guarantee for any unity.
