Ayatullah al-Uzma Husayn Mazaheri

He is an eminent Faqih(jurisprudent) in the Islamic Seminary of Qom is one of the leading Marja i-Taqlid of the Shi'ites in the world. Beside his supervising the famous and historical Islamic seminary of Isfahan and teaching the high session of fiqh and Usul(Principles of Jurisprudence) in that seminary, he always expounds and teaches the ethical basics to the students and public. His eminence has many compilations in different fields.

Biography
Ayatullah al-Uzma Shaykh Husayn Mazaheri was born in Isfahan in 1933 in the family known with its religious background. In 1947 he entered the Islamic seminary of Isfahan and began to study in the school of Masjid Sayyid Isfahan. He studied literature with the late Agha Jamal Khansari and Agha Ahmad Muqaddas, while he learned the Sath(Post-Graduation) stage from eminent Ayatullahs such as Khademi, Fayyadh, Tayyib, and Adeeb. Ayatullah Mazaheri studied Manzumeh(Advanced Islamic Philosophy) with Ayatullah Mufid.
In 1952, he migrated to Qom and began to study the high(doctoral) stage with the late Ayatullah Shaykh Abdul Jawad Jabal `Aamili, the late Ayatullah Uzma Mar`ashi Najafi, and the late Ayatullah Shaykh Murtadha Ha'iri, while he studied the Kharij(Post-Doctoral) stage with Ayatullah Uzma Agha Husayn Boroujerdi for more than eight years, with Imam Khumayni for more than ten years, and with Ayatullah Uzma Sayyid Muhammad Muhaqqiq Damad for more than twelve years. Ayatullah Mazaheri studied the book (al-Asfar) of Mullah Sadra and (Shifa') of Avicenna with the Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'I in the same time, he was giving lessons on Islamic literature in the Isfahan's Islamic Seminary and the sath stage in the Islamic seminary of Qom.
Thus, Ayatullah Mazaheri for more than twenty years is teaching the Kharij stage on fiqh and Usool in the Islamic seminaries in Qom and Isfahan. Today, Ayatullah Mazaheri is supervizing the Islamic seminaries in Isfahan and thousands of tullab(seminary students) of Islamic sciences get benefit from his eminence.
