Al-Hoda International Publishers
Al-Hoda International Publishers & Distributors was established in 1985 in order to propagate the Islamic Thought and Culture, introduce Iranian civilization, and help the Persian language to develop. Now after 20 years of continuous and active attendance in the field of national and international publication, this organization has accomplished publishing over 650 titles of books on such different subjects as religion, philosophy, history and civilization, art, children’s and teenagers’ literature; moreover, it has tens of other books at various stages of research, compiling and publication which will be accessible to the readers in the near future.
In other countries, Al-Hoda international publication has not only endeavored to fulfill its role in the research, compiling, publication, and distribution of Persian books, but also, enjoying the help of its technological capabilities and experienced experts and translators, it has accomplished the task of translating, printing, and publishing its books in nearly 25 commonly-spoken languages of the world including Persian, Arabic, English, French, German, Istanbul Turkish, Azeri Turkish, Turkmen, Philippine, Uzbek, Spanish, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Russian, Bulgarian, Indonesian, Czech, Armenian, and Urdu. We hope that our efforts would have satisfied all those interested in Islamic Iranian culture, civilization and literature.
The theme of some of the most important activities:
1. Developing per opportunities and foundations in order to cooperate with prestigious national and international publishers.
2. Presenting national and international compilers, translators and publishers with printing and publishing services.
3. Compiling, translating, printing and distributing books in the commonly-spoken languages of the world.
4. Translating and publishing the valuable works of some religious, scientific and cultural Iranian figures and luminaries including the professors martyred Morteza Motahhari, Allameh Tabatabai, Allameh Muhammad Taghi Jafari and martyr Dr. Beheshti.
5. Translating and publishing the works of some foreign intellectuals in cultural, artistic and literary fields.
6. Printing and publishing some works on the introduction of neighboring countries’ culture and civilization, especially those of Central Asia and Caucasian.
7. Creation of artistic works and collections in the fields of calligraphy, illumination, photography and painting.
8. Making contacts with foreign publishers in order to introduce proper and carefully-selected books to all those interested, inside the country and fulfilling the requirements of scientific, cultural and research organizations in this field.
9. Making contacts with all the internal publishers and cultural organizations in order to find distinguished works and present them in internal or foreign distribution networks.
10. Establishing official agencies and sales bureaus in Qom and Mashhad.
11. Granting distribution or sales agencies to publishers, cultural organizations and corporate or individual bodies.
12. Establishing official agencies and sales bureaus in England, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.
13. Obtaining agencies from internal and external publishers for marketing and presenting their products in Iran and other countries.
14. Supplying and sending abroad the cultural products needed by international publishers and organizations.
15. Being present in internal, regional and international book fairs throughout the world in order to introduce and present distinguished works in all fields, also receiving awards as the best publisher at international book fairs: Tehran (1992-1993), Muscat (1992-2000), Sana’ (1996-2000), Abu Dhabi (1998), United Arab Emirates (1999).
