The Miraculous Water Spring at Qadamgah

Qadamgah lies 23 kilometers northeast of Neyshabur. Neyshabur is situated 110 away from the holy city of Mashhad. Qadamgah and Neyshabur are also regular spots on the itinerary of pilgrims and travelers visiting the holy city of Mashhad.
According to the accounts of the journey, Imam Reza (A.S.) stopped at a spring, besides which he performed the prayer. After the prayer, the impression of his feet miraculously appeared on the stone where he stood. Later, the faithful built a dome besides the spring and installed the impression of the Imam's feet in its southern wall. The present building dates from the Safavid period. Millions of pilgrims and travelers visiting the holy shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) in Mashhad city also visit Qadamgah and drink the water from spring adjoined to the shrine near the impression of the feet of Imam Reza (A.S.).
Suddenly by the grace of Allah SWT I started thinking that since Zamzam is the miracle of prophet Ismail and the composition of the contents shows that it is rated the best drink able water in the world which has a capacity to quench the thirst and relieve exertion and tiredness from Hajis when they drink it after the completion of Tawaf and Saee. I started thinking of similar miracle of our Eighth infallible Imam Ali Ibn Musa Reza (A.S.). Imam Reza A.S. is also coming from the same progeny and is also infallible, so the miraculous appearance of holy water at Qadam Gah – Nishabour because of Imam Ali Ibn Musa Reza A.S. should be having the same kind of miraculous composition.
With these thoughts in my mind by the grace of Allah SWT and wish of Imam Ali Ibn Musa Reza (A.S.), I came to Mashhad, performed Ziarat of Imam Ali Ibn Musa Reza (A.S.), for some days and then decided to visit Nishabour in the company of tourist guide Mr. Mohammad Reza Khazal. We paid tribute to our Eighth holy Imam, kissed the marks of his foot steps, recited namaz for the respect of this holy place and then went to the place from where this holy water is flowing because of miracle of Imam Ali Ibn Musa Reza (A.S.). We sincerely washed our faces, drank plenty of water and stored the water in six bottles, one of the bottles was specially brought from Dubai with us, which was washed and cleaned properly. We drank all the water from five bottles during our remaining stay in Mashhad and Qum and brought the sixth bottle to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) for complete laboratory analysis for its composition.
I shopped around in Dubai to find out a good, reliable and famous laboratory that can do testing of this holy water from Nishabour- Iran and give me the exact contents mineral wise as I have seen for holy Zamzam water. After a search of a week I found out the name of “AL FUTTAIM BODYCOTE MATERIAL TESTING SERVICES P.O.BOX 34924-DUBAI-UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. (Contact # 009714-3332201 fax # 009714-3332772) I went to their office on November 11, 2006 and submitted the sample without giving any detail of the water and from where it was brought. I got the reports of the tested water sample on November 16, 2006. I was amazed with the results of the composition of the holy water from Nishabour. The results of comparison of Zamzam and water from Nishabour are given in a tabular form for easy understanding. The copies of the material testing company are also attached for your review with their findings of both Zamzam and water from Nishabour.

Some importants points about the miraculous water from the Qadamgah
1. Miraculous water of Qadamgah has never dried up.
2. It has always maintained the same salt composition and taste ever since it came into existence. Its portability has always been universally recognized as millions of pilgrims from all over the world visit this place every year for ziarat, but has never complained about it. Instead, they have always enjoyed the water that refreshes them.
3. Water tastes different at different places. Miraculous water of Qadamgah appeal has always been universal.
4. This water has never been chemically treated or chlorinated, as is the case with water pumped into the cities. Biological growth and vegetation usually takes place in most wells. This makes the water unpalatable owing to the growth of algae causing taste and odor problems. But in the case of the Miraculous water of Qadamgah; there wasn't any sign of biological growth.
The intention and idea for bringing about this comparison is surely not to show that the water from Qadam Gah in Nishabour is superior to Zamzam in any way. This is a honest gesture to show that the importance of holy water in Nishabour and to bring about awareness in the pilgrims to Qadamgah to make proper use of it for their own benefits because we can very easily understand the importance of it who are living in other parts of the world.
The findings:
(a) Water from Qadamgah near Nishapour has miraculous TDS ( Total Dissolved solids as magic number 786 means Bismillah Hir Rehma nir Rahim)
(b) Water from Qadam Gah Nishapour has more:

(2) Bicarbonate: HCO3
(3) Calcium: Ca
(4) Magnesium: Mg
(5) Nitrate: NO3
Then even the best rated drinking water in the world Zamzam, and has similar
Capacity of:
(1) Iron: Fe
(2) Manganese: Mn
(3) Copper: Cu
Since it has more Calcium and Magnesium Salts Miraculous water of Qadamgah has more capacity to refresh tired pilgrims or visitors.
(c) The magic number 786 of TDS (Total dissolved solids) is a clear indication of its miraculous existence by an infallible person close to Allah SWT.
(d) The magic number 786 of TDS (Total dissolved solids) is clear indication and proof of our Eighth Imam (A.S.)’s visit to that place where it is located and came into existence and chain of events related to that.
(e) The magic number 786 of TDS (Total dissolved solids) means the best possible combination to give relief from any kind of lacking in human body: like Zamzam water, when ever Hajjis drink it after the exertion and stress of Tawaf and Saee they feel relief and all of their stress and tiredness go away.
(f) The composition of water from Qadamgah in Nishapour clearly indicates the availability of described minerals in that area. It can be of very big gain for the people of Islamic Republic of Iran, Insha'ALLAH.
