The swift worldwide developments, regional as well as national conditions and particularly short term demands require that economic activities of Astan Quds Razavi would be planned and implemented in the form of developmental functions and reasonable and practical programs.
Razavi economic organization has established based upon Astan Quds Razavi's Grand Custodian in order to optimize economic firms management under the patronage of this organization, the next development and investments as well as responsibility to provide and supply a reliable financial and economic patronage for cultural activities and supreme purposes of Astan Quds Razavi and the opportunities for employment.
From the beginning of the establishment, this organization has designed facilities and formulated functional programs to fulfill the favorite objectives of the organization by considering the effective conditions and difficulties in economic activities. In 2003, the necessities for formulating a strategic program to the economic activities were provided under the supervision of Razavi economic organization by providing the essential substructures.
This organization has a special and strategic position because of its connection with Sameno'l-Ae'meh; Imam Reza's (AS) Holy Shrine that makes it more credible than the other similar agencies, so that such economic organization is one of the biggest economic holdings in Iran specially in the east of the country that has played an important role for flourishing the economy of the region.

Profile:
Astan Quds Razavi's economic activities have existed since long considering the holy endowment fact by separating the economic activities from the other cultural activities and since 1997 by improving the structure of the establishments as well as registering the institution lawfully, the Razavi economic organization has directed and organized in the form of the organization in Ordibehesht (the second month in Persian year) 1383 / 2003. This organization undertakes the management of 89 firms and institutions which in 44 cases it has upwards to %50 of shares and in the rest 45 units has less than %50 of shares. The activities' areas of the institutions and firms can be divided into four main fields as follows:
1. Industry and mine
2. Agriculture
3. Construction & Civil Engineering
4. Substructural activities in the Free Economic Zone of Sarakhs.
2011 with all its challenges and ups and downs ended. We hope that this year’s results, lessons and experiences guide us through better developments and achievements in the New Year. In the last year despite the environmental upheavals and changes governing economical activities of this organization, and institutions and subsidiaries, with the consideration of God and Imam Reza and due to the efforts of honorable board members, managers and competent staff at the Institute of Razavi Economic Organization, sub companies and institutions, with thanks to Allah we were able to successfully pass this year, we hope this would gain the satisfaction and acceptance of the patrons of Imam Reza, Ali Ibn Musa Reza (thousands of greeting and praise be upon him).
Last year, along with prospects and strategic plan, aims to improve productivity and business optimization and our tasks and also planning for activities development and new investments was on the agenda, the main achievements include:
- Improving efficiency, productivity and profitability of the subsidiary companies and institutions
- Development of exporting engineering products and services
- Development of investment activities in the area to buy shares in companies
- Promotion of participating in constructive and reconstructive projects
- Organizing the brand products of subsidiary companies and implementing projects to improve and promote them
- Improving and recreating in the business models of companies and subsidiary companies
- Revise the organizational structure and planning for professional development of specialized holdings
- Implementing the first phase of organization’s information system project
- The formulation and finalization of strategic plans, holdings and subsidiary companies
- Promoting the quality management system to the 2008 - 9001 ISO
The economic organization according to the guidelines of the Great Superintendence of Astan Qods Razavi and the organization’s strategic plan, in 1390 intends that with planning, effort and higher rate achieve the targets drawn in line with the maximization of expected value of its stakeholders. Therefore the main emphasized goals of the organization are as follow:
- Increasing the proportion of domestic markets and exports
- Managing costs and cost of products and services
- Improving the utilization of assets and creating efficient, safe and persistent capital and economic resources
- Planning and managing financial resources
- Energy management
- Reforming the organizational structure and specializing the activities in form of specialized holdings
- Improve the decision making system and revise the review the processes and optimal use of information systems
- Enhancement and development of new investment
In 2013 due to environmental changes ahead, we are expecting all colleagues to work with harmony and sympathy and effort and perseverance to step up towards the organizational goals and provide the growth conditions in line with expectations and higher goals of Astan Qods Razavi, our province and our country, and try more, and God willing be ready for next steps in the future.
