Ziyarah of Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (S.A.)
Excerpted from the English version of Mafatih al-Jinan
While standing in the area between the Holy Prophet’s tomb and minbar (i.e. Garden of Paradise- Rawdhah), you may visit the tomb of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra’ (s.a.) though there is disagreement about the place of her tomb. Some say that she was buried in the Rawdhah.
Others say that she was buried at her house. Others say that she was buried in the Baqi‘ Cemetery. However, the majority of our scholars agree that she must be visited from the Rawdhah, although to visit her at these three places is more preferable.
When you stand for the ziyarah of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra’s tomb, you may say the following:
íÇ ãõãúÊóÍóäóÉõ ÇãúÊóÍóäóßö Çááåõ ÇáøóÐí ÎóáóÞóßö ÞóÈúáó Çóäú íóÎúáõÞóßö 
Ya mumtahana imtahanaki Allahu alladhi khalaqaki qabla an yakhluqaki, O the carefully examined one: Allah Who created you had tried you before He created you (for this worldly life),
ÝæóÌóÏóßö áöãóÇ ÇãúÊóÍóäóßö ÇÈöÑóÉð
Fawajadaki lima imtahanaki sabirat, and thus He found you successfully enduring in that trial.
æóÒóÚóãúäÇ ÇóäøÇ áóßö ÇóæúáöíÇÁõ æóãõóÏøöÞõæäó
Wa za’amna anna laki awliyaun wa mussaddiqun, We claim being loyalists, believers,
æóÇÈöÑõæäó áößõáøö ãÇ ÇóÊÇäÇ Èöåö ÇóÈõæßö óáøóì Çááåõ Úóáóíúåö æóÂáöåö
Wa sabiruna likulli ma atana bihi abuki, salla Allahu a’alayhi wa alih, and standing as regards all that which has been conveyed to us by your father—peace of Allah be upon him and his Household—
æóÇóÊì Èöåö æóöíøõåõ
Wa ata bihi wasiyuh, and all that which his Successor has brought to us.
ÝóÇöäøÇ äóÓúÃóáõßö Çöäú ßõäøÇ óÏøóÞúäÇßö
Fa-inna nas’aluki in kunna saddaqnaki, We, thus, ask you, if we have really believed you,
ÅáÇø ÇóáúÍóÞúÊöäÇ ÈöÊóúÏíÞöäÇ áóåõãÇ
Illa alhaqtina bitasdiqina lahuma, that you may include us with those who believe in them both,
áöäõÈóÔøöÑó ÇóäúÝõÓóäÇ ÈöÇóäøÇ ÞóÏú ØóåõÑúäÇ ÈöæóáÇíóÊößö.
Li-nubashshira anfusana bi-anna qad tahurna bi-wilayatiki.
so that we may feel happy that we have been purified on account of our loyalty to you.

A salamu ‘alayki ayyatuha al-muhadathatu al-‘alima, Peace be upon You; O the talked by the angels, the knowledgeable.

A salamu ‘alayki ayyatuha al-mathlumatu al-marsoba, Peace be upon You; O the oppressed lady whose right was usurped.

A salamu ‘alayki ayyatuha al-mudtahadatu al-maqhura, Peace be upon You; O the persecuted, the maltreated.

A salamu ‘alayki ya Fatimatu binta rasuli Allah, Peace be upon You; O Fatimah, daughterof the Messenger of Allah.

Wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatuhu, So be upon you the mercy and blessings of Allah

salla Allahu ‘alayki wa ‘ala ruhiki wa badaniki, May Allah bless you, your soul, and your body.

ashhadu annaki madayti ‘ala bayinatin min rabbiki, I bear witness that you have spent your life with full awareness of your duty towards your Lord;

Wa-anna man sarraki faqad sarra rasula Allah, salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa alih, and (I bear witness) that he who pleases you will have pleased the Messenger of Allah—peace be upon him and his Household

Wa-man jafaki faqad jafa rasula Allah, salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa alih, and he who displeases you will have displeased the Messenger of Allah — peace be upon him and his Household—
æóãóäú ÂÐÇßö ÝóÞóÏú ÂÐì ÑóÓõæáó Çááåö óáøóì Çááåõ Úóáóíúåö æóÂáöåö¡
Wa-man athaki faqad atha rasula Allah, salla Allahu ‘alayhhi wa alih, And he who harms you will have harmed the Messenger of Allah —peace be upon him and his Household—
æóãóäú æóóáóßö ÝóÞóÏú æóóáó ÑóÓõæáó Çááåö óáøóì Çááåõ Úóáóíúåö æóÂáöåö¡
Wa-man wasalaki faqad wasala rasula Allah, salla Allahu ‘alayhhi wa ælih, and he who respects you will have respected the Messenger of Allah —peace be upon him and his Household —
æóãóäú ÞóØóÚóßö ÝóÞóÏú ÞóØóÚó ÑóÓõæáó Çááåö óáøóì Çááåõ Úóáóíúåö æóÂáöåö
Wa-man qata’aki faqad qata’a rasula Allah, salla Allahu ‘alayhhi wa alih and he who disrespects you will have disrespected the Messenger of Allah—peace be upon him and his Household.
áÇóäøóßö ÈöÖúÚóÉñ ãöäúåõ æóÑõæÍõåõ ÇáøóÐí Èóíúäó ÌóäúÈóíúåö¡
Li-annaki bid’atun minhu, wa ruhuhu al-lathi bayna janbayh, This is because you are an inseparable part of him (i.e. the Holy Prophet), and you are his soul with which he lives.
ÇõÔúåöÏõ Çááåó æóÑõÓõáóåõ æóãóáÇÆößóÊóåõ
Uchhidu Allaha wa rusulahu wa mala’ikatahu, I ask Allah, His Messengers, and His angels to be the witnesses
Çóäøí ÑÇÖ Úóãøóäú ÑóÖóíÊö Úóäúåõ¡
Anni radin ‘amman radiyti ‘anh, that I am verily pleased with him whomever you accept,
ÓÇÎöØñ Úóáì ãóäú ÓóÎöØúÊö Úóáóíúåö
sakhitun ‘ala man sakhitti ‘alayh, and I am displeased with him whomever you detest,
ãõÊóÈóÑøöìÁñ ãöãøóäú ÊóÈóÑøóÃúÊö ãöäúåõ¡
Mutabari’un miman tabara’ti minh, and I disavow him whomever you disavow,
ãõæÇá áöãóäú æÇáóíúÊö¡ ãõÚÇÏ áöãóäú ÚÇÏöíúÊö¡
Muwalin liman walayti, Mu’adin liman ‘adayti, and I am loyal to him whomever you support, and I am the enemy of him whomever you betake as enemy,
ãõÈúÛöÖñ áöãóäú ÇóÈúÛóÖúÊö ãõÍöÈøñ áöãóäú ÇóÍúÈóÈúÊö¡
mubridun liman abradti, muhibun liman ahbabti, and I am hateful to him whomever you hate,
æóßóÝì ÈöÇááåö ÔóåíÏÇð æóÍóÓíÈÇð æóÌÇÒöíÇð æóãõËíÈÇð.
Wa kafa bil-Lahi chahidan wa …asiban wa jaziyan wa muthiba.
and I like him whomever you like. Verily, Allah is Sufficient as Witness, Reckone Punisher, and Rewarder.
You may then pray Almighty Allah for sending blessings on the Holy Prophet and Imams.
Within the recommended acts on the third of Jumada al-Akhirah (the martyrdom day of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra’, s.a.), another form of ziyarahof Lady Fatimah al-Zahra’ (s.a.) has been cited.
Scholars have mentioned another form of ziyarah whose statements are similar to the statements of the aforementioned ziyarah that has been quoted from Shaykh al-Tusiy.
However, the complete form of this ziyarah is as follows:

ÃäÇ íÇ ãæáÇÊí Èß æ ÈÃÈíß æ ÈÚáß æ ÇáÃÆãøÉ ãä æáÏß ãæÞä
Ana ya mawlati biki wa bi abiki wa ba'luki wa al-ai'mati min wildik muqin O my chiefess: I have full faith in you, your father, your husband, and your sons —the Imams;
æ ÈæáÇíÊåã ãÄãä
Wa biwilayatihim mu'min and I believe in their (divinely commissioned) leadership;
æ áØÇÚÊåã ãáÊÒã
Wa lita'atihim multazim and I commit myself to the obedience to them.
ÃÔåÏ Ãäø ÇáÏøíä Ïíäåã
Ash-hadu anna ad-deen dinuhum I bear witness that their religion is the true religion;
ÇáÍßã Íßãåã
Alhukmu hukmuhum and their command is the true command;
æ åã ÞÏ ÈáøÛæÇ Úä Çááøóå ÚÒø æ Ìáø
Wa hum qad balagu inda Allah azza wa jal and they have conveyed on behalf of Almighty Allah (flawlessly);
æ ÏÚæÇ Åáì ÓÈíá Çááøóå ÈÇáÍßãÉ æ ÇáãæÚÙÉ ÇáÍÓäÉ¡
Wa da'u illa sabeeli Allah bil hikmati wal maw'ithati Al-hasana and they have called to the Way of Allah with wisdom and fair exhortation.
áÇ ÊÃÎÐåã Ýí Çááøóå áæãÉ áÇÆã¡
La ta'khuthuhum fi Allah lawmata la'im They have never feared the blame of anyone concerning carrying out their duty towards Almighty Allah.
æ áæÇÊ Çááøóå Úáíß æ Úáì ÃÈíß æ ÈÚáß
Wa salawatu Allahi alaiki wa ala abeeki wa ba'luki Blessings of Allah be upon you and upon your father, your husband,
æ ÐÑøíøÊß ÇáÃÆãøÉ ÇáØøÇåÑíä
wa thurriyatuki Al-a'imma al-tahireen and your descendants—the Immaculate Imams.

Allahumma salli ala Muhammedin wa ahli baitih O Allah: (please do) send blessings upon Muƒammad and his Household

Wa salli ala al-batool al-tahira and upon the immaculate, pure lady:

As-siddeeqa al-ma'sooma the veracious, the sinless,
ÇáÊÞíøÉ ÇáäÞíøÉ¡ ÇáÑøÖíøÉ ÇáãÑÖíøÉ¡ ÇáÒøßíøÉ ÇáÑøÔíÏÉ¡
At-taqiya an-naqiya, ar-radhiya al-mardhiya, az-zakiya ar-rasheeda The pious, the immaculate, The content, the well-pleased, the chaste, the rightly guided,
ÇáãÙáæãÉ ÇáãÞåæÑÉ¡
Al-mathlooma al-maqhoora the oppressed, the wronged,
ÇáãÛæÈÉ ÍÞøåÇ¡
Al-magsooba haqqaha whose right was usurped,
ÇáããäæÚÉ ÅÑËåÇ¡
Al-mamnoo'ati irtheha whose right of inheritance was violated,
ÇáãßÓæÑ ÖáÚåÇ¡
Al-maksoori dhil'aha whose rib was broken,
ÇáãÙáæã ÈÚáåÇ¡
Al-madhloomi ba'luha whose husband waspersecuted,
ÇáãÞÊæá æáÏåÇ¡
Al-maqtooli wilduha whose son was slain;
ÝÇØãÉ ÈäÊ ÑÓæáß¡
Fatimah binti rasoolika (she is) Fatimah: the daughter of Your Messenger,
æ ÈÖÚÉ áÍãå¡
Wa bith'ati lahmih the part of his flesh,
æ ãíã ÞáÈå¡
Wa sameemi qalbih the essence of his heart,
æ ÝáÐÉ ßÈÏå¡
Wa falath-thati kabidi the piece of his innermost,
æ ÇáäÎÈÉ ãäß áå¡
Wal nukhbati minka lahu the choice of You for him,
æ ÇáÊÍÝÉ ÎÊ ÈåÇ æíøåº
Wal tuhfatu khasasta biha wasiyuh the gift that You have give exclusively to the Successor of him,
æ ÍÈíÈÉ ÇáãØÝì¡
Wa habeebahu al-mustafa the most beloved of the Preferred Prophet,
æ ÞÑíäÉ ÇáãÑÊÖì¡
Wa qareenatu al-murtadha the wife of the Pleased Successor,
æ ÓíøÏÉ ÇáäÓÇÁ¡
Wa siyidatu an-nisaa the Doyenne of all women,
æ ãÈÔøÑÉ ÇáÃæáíÇÁ¡
Wa mubashshiratu al-awliya' the conveyor of good tidings to the intimate servants (of Almighty Allah),
ÍáíÝÉ ÇáæÑÚ æ ÇáÒøåÏ¡
Halifatu al-wara' wal-zuhd the inseparable from piety and asceticism,
æ ÊÝøÇÍÉ ÇáÝÑÏæÓ æ ÇáÎáÏ¡
Wa tufahau al-firdawsi wal-khuld the Apple of the Heaven and Eternity (in Paradise);
ÇáøÊí ÔÑøÝÊ ãæáÏåÇ ÈäÓÇÁ ÇáÌäøÉ¡
Al-lati sharrafat mawliduha aj-jana the lady through whose birth You have honored the women of Paradise,
æ ÓááÊ ãäåÇ ÃäæÇÑ ÇáÃÆãøÉ¡
Wa sallalat minha anwar al-a'imma from whom You pulled the Lights ofthe Imams,
æ ÃÑÎíÊ ÏæäåÇ ÍÌÇÈ ÇáäÈæøÉ.
Wa urkhiyat dunaha hijabu an-nubuwa and fixed the Veil of Prophethood.

Allahumma salli alaiha salaten tazeedu fi mahiliha indek O Allah: (please do) confer upon her with blessings that raise her standing

Wa sharafiha ladaika and her honor with You;
æ ãäÒáÊåÇ ãä ÑÖÇß¡
Wa manzilataha min ridhak and raise her position from Your Pleasure,
æ ÈáøÛåÇ ãäøÇ ÊÍíøÉ æ ÓáÇãÇð¡
Wa balligHa minna tahiyatan wa salama and convey to her our greetings and compliments;

Wa 'atina min laduna fi hubbiha fadhlan wa ihsanan wa rahmaten wa ghufrana and give us favor, kindness, mercy, anforgiveness from yoon account of our love for her.

Innaka al-'afuwu al-kareem Verily, You are the All-generous Lord of pardon.
