The Hard Work
Today, we take pride in holding big posts and working for big firms and companies; and leading a comfortable and luxurious life. There is nothing wrong with this as long as it is in lawful manner. But the irony is that there is a growing tendency among Muslims to take false pride. They feel and believe that people who have been successful in attaining great positions are better and therefore notable and worthy of respect whereas those who have not attained the same are considered as inferior. According to Islam, anyone who struggles to sustain himself and his family in lawful manner - then whatever lawful job or work he may undertake for the purpose, he is worthy in the sight of Allah (SWT). |
