Imam-e-Zamana Mission, Hyderabad, India
Imam-e-Zamana Mission was constituted by a group of well meaning people in 1984 and was officially registered as a Society in December 1985. The distribution of khums in Hyderabad for ages was done through Ulema. About 30 years ago Late Janab Peer Mohammed Haji Gulam Ali popularly known as Peerbhoy started distribution of khums pertaining to his own Sehme-sadat and that of a few well meaning people. This task was handed over by late Janab Peerbhoy to his son Salim Peerbhoy. In 1984 through mutual contact Salimbhai joined another group of people to do this work in a little more systematic and organized way. The by-laws were framed. But in 1985 it was felt that this committee should be registered as a Society. On 31/12/1985 Imam-e-Zamana Mission was registered as Charity under Andhra Pradesh (Telangana) Public Societies Act 1350F. The Home Department of Government of India gave us the license to import Contribution from abroad under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976 (FCRA). |
